Legend
The number in front of the horse's
name, is its registration number.
( ) The number in the round brackets represents the total number of
offspring that the particular stallion sired. These numbers are current as
of October 20, 2000.
[ / ] The first number in the square bracket is the number of male
offspring which were registered as stallions (eg does not include male
offspring registered as geldings). The second number (after the slash) in
the square brackets represents male offspring standing at stud (determined
by whether they have offspring registered to them or who are known to be
standing at stud).
Blue text
Denotes a stallion which has expired, been gelded or is no longer at stud.
Red text
Denotes a stallion which has either expired or been gelded and which has
left either no male offspring whatsoever, or else no male offspring at
stud, with which to carry on the line. In effect, this particular branch
of the male line has now died out.
