South Forty Prince Fonzie, 1996 Canadian Horse stallion

Fonzie is one of the few remaining Henryville stallions left in the Canadian Horse breed. This line is very well known for its quiet nature and very kind disposition.

Accordingly, his bloodlines are very desirable, extremely rare, and most importantly, in dire need of preservation.

Still going strong! Taken summer of 2014

Although of a very rare bloodline , he is not just good "on paper". Fonzie is a beautifully built, intelligent, athletic, very kind, and exceptionally quiet and sweet natured stallion. He has garnered himself quite the reputation across Canada and the USA for producing foals with these same qualities. Because of his consistent ability to pass on his desirable characteristics, Fonzie has had breedings all across Canada and the US. With this, we have also had many repeat clients who have been so delighted with their first foal from him, that they typically come back for more!

South Forty Prince Fonzie

Fonzie is quite the popular guy and seems to have a passionate following of admirers around the province and even right across Canada.

He has has appeared as the "poster" horse for the breed in many articles as well as equine text books. He has also been the star of many a heritage school report and project.

Pretty much everyone coming to the farm or seeing him at shows requests to see the "famous" Fonzie first!
